THE SEINFELD BUZZ

It takes Jerry Seinfield to make a hit animation movie starring bees…lots of animated bees buzzing here and there and everywhere. Second to only Oprah as one of the wealthiest stars on TV, Seinfeld now plans on conquering the world of motion pictures, specifically animation. In a very smart marketing move, “BEE Movie” was being heavily promoted via press junkets and mini-films on television during peak hours, well before its release date of November 2.
And the early buzz on “BEE” has been fantastic.
Chicago was one of the stops on the Seinfeld press junket and he didn’t fail to impress the several 100 reporters and VIPs assembled for a very early sneak peak of “BEE.”
Besides Seinfeld, “BEE” boasts a stellar cast including Renee Zellweger, Sting and Matthew Broderick.
Of course the question came up “why bees?” “Why not?” Seinfield chuckled. “Bees are the only animals that make something that people want. Chickens think they are making chickens.”
Seinfeld is of course remembered for his long standing comedy series on NBC that ran from 1989-1998 titled appropriately “Seinfeld.”
