DEPP’S DEN April 2008

JohnnyDeppReads.com and Little Bohemia Lodge

This week the Little Bohemia Lodge in Manitowish Waters, Wisconsin will never be the same.

Hundreds of fans will be descending on the area to wait for a glimpse of their hero Johnny Depp as he films “Public Enemies.”

And if the last few weeks are any indication, they will not be disappointed, despite this location being dubbed as a “closed set.”

It’s been a month since the glorious Mr. Depp has arrived in the Midwest to shoot his latest film “Public Enemies.” From cities in Wisconsin like Columbus and Oshkosh to Crown Point,Indiana, to Aurora, IL, Depp has been holding meet and greets with his legion of fans. Standing in the cold, rain, sleet usually in the gloom of night, Depp can be found walking the lines of hundreds of fans that wait patiently and orderly behind barricades with their cameras and autograph pens at the ready.

Stories about Depp’s graciousness, kindness and patience have been circulating on the Internet, on television and in the papers. And they all say the same thing, Depp is a prince of a fella-taking his time as he meets and greets his fans to talk to them, pose for a photo, shake their hand.

Clearly it means as much to Depp as it does to his fans.

Depp has clearly raised the bar for every performer, every celebrity. If Depp, currently the biggest star in the world, can meet and greet his fans without incident, why can’t all the rest of the performers do the same?

Here at Chicagoactor.com, we decided to try and answer that question. Of course the answer lies within

Depp’s legion of fans.

Stay tuned for our exclusive email interview with one of the best and most professional Depp fan sites: JohnnyDeppReads (JDR)!
