Chicagoans consider him a hometown fella, even though he is a Canadian.
Keanu Reeves is currently back in theaters with his new thriller called “Street Kings,” opposite Forest Whitaker, Hugh Laurie and John Corbett.
Since the comedy of “Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure” Reeves has been on an excellent adventure, starring in such films as “Point Blank,” “A Walk In The Clouds,” “The Devil’s Advocate,” “Dracula,” “The Gift,” “Sweet November,” “The Replacements,” “Something’s Gotta Give,” “A Scanner Darkly,” “Speed,” Constantine” and the popular “Matrix” trilogy.
He is a favorite among Chicagoans, having filmed “Chain Reaction” and “The Lake House” in Illinois.
Reeves’ next project will be a remake of “The Day The Earth Stood Still,” to be released this December.
Reeves, is still single, but he may not be single for too long, he has made it no secret that he is almost ready to finally take that plunge and settle down and have some little Neos.
