Congratulations to our town’s Virginia Madsen. The beautiful and multifaceted actress has just launched her own production company called Title IX Productions (the name refers to the 1972 law that prohibits gender discrimination in universities and schools).

First on the company’s roster of films will be a documentary directed by Elaine Madsen entitled “I Know A Woman Like That.”

Congratulations are also in order for the Madsen family- Virginia and her brother acclaimed actor Michael Madsen will
be hosting the Chicago SAG Branch’s celebration of the Guild’s 75th Anniversary on June 21 at Salvage One.

The Host Committee includes a wide range of famous Chicagoans, including Joe Mantegna, John Cusack and Jeremy Piven just to name a few.
